Root Canal Treatment
Removal of inflamed tooth pulp and root canal disinfection
Service overview
Root Canal Treatment
Root canal treatment (endodontics) makes it possible to save a natural tooth in which the pulp has become inflamed or has died. The procedure involves removing the inflamed tissue from inside the tooth, thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting the root canals, and then sealing them tightly. In our clinic, treatment is performed under magnification using a dental operating microscope, which allows us to locate and treat even very narrow and curved canals.
Who benefits
Ideal candidates for this treatment
Root canal treatment is intended for patients in whom deep decay or trauma has caused irreversible pulp inflammation, as well as for those who need re-treatment of a tooth that was root-filled in the past. It is often the only alternative to extracting the tooth.
